Every now and then, I catch the look. You know the one\u2014equal parts curiosity, confusion, and a quiet \u201care they a little unhinged?\u201d And honestly? I get it.<\/div>\n

On paper, what we\u2019re doing might sound a little wild. We\u2019ve stepped away from a traditional life, packed up what we can carry, and chosen to worldschool our kids while traveling full-time. No \u201cnormal\u201d routine. No clear end date.<\/div>\n

So\u2026 are we crazy? Maybe a little. But not for the reasons people think.<\/div>\n

Life Is Short\u2014And We\u2019ve Felt That Deeply<\/h3>\n
This decision didn\u2019t come out of nowhere. It came from experience\u2014the kind that shifts your entire perspective.<\/div>\n
Michael has had cancer. Twice.<\/div>\n
That changes things. It strips away the illusion that we have endless time and replaces it with a very real awareness that we don\u2019t. When you\u2019ve walked through something like that, you start asking different questions.<\/div>\n
Not \u201cWhat\u2019s expected of us?\u201d
\nBut \u201cWhat actually matters?\u201d<\/div>\n
For us, the answer was simple: time together.<\/div>\n
Not just time in the same house, passing each other between school, work, sports, and obligations\u2014but real, intentional, shared time. The kind where you\u2019re present. The kind where memories stick.<\/div>\n
We don\u2019t want to look back someday and realize we were too busy living a life that didn\u2019t truly feel like ours.<\/div>\n
