When we set off on our trip to Central America, we planned to be back in the United States in May.\u00a0 One month in Nicaragua has turned into five, and we may be here longer than that.<\/p>\n

Before coronavirus struck, dental tourism was big here in Nicaragua. The cost of dental care is much cheaper in Nicaragua than in the United States.\u00a0 Dental X-rays cost $20. Teeth cleaning costs $20 for kids and $40 for adults.<\/p>\n

Dental hygiene is important to us. The boys have been going to the dentist since they were three-years-old. We always go twice a year for teeth cleaning.<\/p>\n
