One of the things we were most looking forward to about long term travel was meeting people. COVID has made meeting new people more challenging, but we have met a lot of wonderful people on our travels so far.<\/p>\n<p>For the last three months, the boys have been hanging out with their friend Tyler (we call him Tye). We met Tye at the pool in Pelican Eyes (where we are staying). He is 10 years old and the boys all share a love of Minecraft. He comes over every day to play. When they are not Minecrafting, they are running around the property building forts, playing hide and go seek, watching movies, and creating comic books. Tye&#8217;s parents. It is energizing to meet other families like us who are nomadic. Tye and the boys have been great companions. It gives us a break from Lucas and Henry and it gives them a break from us. We are already talking about meeting up in Asia once the world opens back up. A great part about our nomadic lifestyle is that we are flexible and we can make altar our plans to meet up with people.<\/p>\n<p>We have made great memories and had great fun with Tye and the other people we have met. Recently we all got henna tattoos. This was our first time using henna. It was a small craft even at Pelican Eyes with another mom and her son. We got to give each other henna tattoos.
