Earlier this year our plans were altered because of COVID. Now our plans are shifting again because my stepmother is battling cancer.<\/p>\n<p>We came back from Nicaragua at the end of August so that we could come to North Carolina and spend time with my dad and stepmom and help them out. We planned to stay for two weeks, but we have been here for almost two months and we have decided to stay longer.<\/p>\n<p>We are lucky to be able to spend time with family and really focus on that.
