We spent the week in Dillon, CO in a Best Western. We were in a standard hotel room with two double beds. Lucas and Henry had school.  Michael and I had to work. It was challenging when we had conference calls, or I had to get up at 6 a.m. for a meeting that started at 8 a.m. eastern time. It was cramped but manageable. It reminded us that we do not need a lot to make our lives work.<\/p>\n

We were not stuck inside the entire time. We came here to ski.<\/p>\n

We spent the week skiing at Keystone. We had beautiful weather and no lift lines. Skiing in the middle of the week was great. Michael went skiing in Keystone as a kid. Lucas, Henry, and I had never been. This was Lucas and Henry\u2019s first time skiing out west.\"\"<\/p>\n

We had a less than 10-minute drive to the slopes and parking was easy. They have special spots up front for families to park.<\/p>\n

We all found our ski legs pretty quick. We stuck to greens and blues.  Henry likes to put his skis in a pizza wedge and go straight down the mountain. Lucas is starting to work on parallel turns. Michael is still looking for jumps at 41. I am content following the boys around the mountain, but I will not do tree runs.<\/p>\n
