We spent our third week of skiing in Beaver Creek.  It is hard to compare Keystone, Breckenridge, and Beaver Creek.<\/p>\n

Keystone seems more family-oriented. It is just the ski-slopes, not tons of shops, restaurants, and bars right around the slopes We were just getting our ski legs when we were there, so we didn’t explore as much of the mountain as we could have.<\/p>\n

Breckenridge was geared more towards the party crowd. The town has tons of shops, restaurants, and bars. It reminds us of a college town. The skiing was great. We started to get more adventurous in Breckenridge skiing blues and even some blacks.<\/p>\n

Beaver Creek is a resort. It is the most upscale of the three places. There is housing, restaurants, and shops at the base of the mountain.  A hotel room on the mountain costs about $1,000 per night. That is not currently in our world travel budget.  Maybe after Henry and Lucas make it big with a Minecraft Youtube channel. We are staying down in Avon, just a short bus ride from the slopes. The bus stops right outside our hotel and only takes about 10 minutes to get up the mountain. We have been skiing hard and it has been knocking the boys out at the end of the day.<\/p>\n
