Pigeon Forge was not on the top of our list of places to visit. We planned to go with friends who suggested it. Our friends ended up not being able to go with us, but we ended up spending the week there and having a great time. Pigeon Forge is a fun place for kids Lucas and Henry’s age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We rented a cute cabin on Airbnb. It is a mile away from the main strip. It has a hot tub and arcade games. It also has good Wifi, which is a must since Michael and I are working. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is so much to do in Pigeon Forge that it was hard for us to decide what to do. On our first night, we went to the Islands<\/a>. The Islands has shops, rides, restaurants, and an arcade. Lucas, Henry, and I did the ropes course. It has several different climbing elements, two zip lines, and one simulated free fall (Quick Jump). We all chose to free fall. We ended the night at Mellow Mushroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On day two we spent the entire day in the cabin. Michael and I had to work and it was raining. One of the best parts of our lifestyle is that we do not feel pressure to pack every day with activities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On day three we went to the Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show<\/a>. It was an hour and a half of high-flying entertainment. The fried chicken dinner was not bad either. Henry was bouncing in his seat the entire time. Lucas and Henry even got to participate in the show. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On day four we went to MagiQuest<\/a>. MagiQuest has four fun activities all in one place. The main attraction is a magic scavenger hunt. The boys each got a magic wand that they used to solve quests and go on adventures. We spent 90 minutes running around looking for clues to collect stones. It was even fun for Michael and me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MagiQuest also has a mirror maze. We let Lucas and Henry do that one on their own. They also played a few video games, but the arcade is pricey. We all played on the 18-hole, indoor mini-golf course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On day five I stayed home to work while the boys went to play tennis and go go-kart racing at Nascar Speedpark<\/a>. The boys spent about 5 hours at the park and we went back the next day to go to virtual reality and arcades. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way back home we stopped in Old Fort for dinner and found Hillman Beer<\/a>. The food was great. Michael had a Reuben, Henry had a burger, Lucas had grilled cheese, and I had a delicious salad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
