Michael likes to check off the states and countries he visits. Earlier this summer he had three states left. Wisconsin was one of those states (the Dakotas are his last two states). I am not as excited about keeping track, but I had never been to Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After visiting our friends in Lake Charlevoix, We drove up and over Lake Michigan to Green Bay, Wisconsin toured the Green Bay Packers football stadium. The team is owned by the fans. You can feel the energy and excitement around the team in Green Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n

Our tour included visiting the museum and a one-hour walking tour that took us to a viewing box and on the field. The stadium looks sharp. It was renovated about seven years ago. It wasn’t awkward at all at the start of our tour when the tour guide asked if anyone was a fan of a team other than Green Bay. Lucas raised his hand and said the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because he likes Tom Brady.<\/p>\n\n\n

Titletown next to Lambeau field has a great park. The kids and Michael were practicing the 40-yard dash.<\/p>\n\n\n

We only spent one night in Green Bay and then we headed to Milwaukee. Michael took the boys to a Brewers game because Lucas also loves baseball. No trip to Milwaukee is complete without touring the Harley Davidson museum. I was fascinated by the history of motorcycles.<\/p>\n\n\n

Our last night in Milwaukee, we spent in Kenosha on Lake Michigan. We took a walk along the beach and the boys got to swim in the hotel pool.<\/p>\n\n\n

We enjoyed Wisconsin. It is a beautiful place in the summer. It is hard to imagine it covered in snow in the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our time in Illinois was short. We stopped in Chicago for the day. We managed to take a boat tour of the city and eat deep-dish pizza. We cut our trip short because I was not feeling well. We will have to come back to Chicago someday for a proper visit.<\/p>\n\n\n
