Traveling with friends is the way to go. Nineteen of us flew from Budva, Montenegro to Budapest, Hungary. It wasn’t the fun travel day we all imagined, but being together helped us get through it. We arrived at the airport in Podgorica thinking it would be an easy check-in because it is a small airport. The security checkpoint was not staffed sufficiently, and it was a free-for-all trying to get to the gate. We all just made it in time to board the flight. Entering Budapest and getting to our Airbnb was easy.<\/p>\n

We all flew to Budapest for a worldschool pop-up hub. Rachel Carlson started Worldschool Pop-up Hub to help families who love to travel connect with other families. https:\/\/www.worldschoolpopuphub.com\/
\nThis is the second hub we participated in, and it is exciting because it culminates in a worldschool prom that Lucas will attend.<\/p>\n

We landed in Budapest a week before the pop-up to get our bearing and settle in. Several other families did too, so the party started early. We took advantage of the nice weather and spent time at the park. Budapest is an easy city to navigate, and there is so much to do. We had roommates for the month. Jill and Declan shared the Airbnb, and it is nice having roommates. We took turns cooking and parenting. It takes a village. Our Airbnb is in a great location in the Jewish Quarter.<\/p>\n
