We picked up Vivian from the Netherlands to bring her to North Carolina for her school break. We used sky miles to get home, and we had a marathon trip from the Netherlands to Greensboro airport, stopping in London and Pennsylvania.
My brother Sam and his wife AC joined us in North Carolina. We celebrated Sam’s birthday with our tradition of a hibachi dinner.
We drove to Boone, North Carolina, to see our niece Greta in a soccer tournament. My mom flew in for the occasion.
Sam and AC took Vivian, Lucas, and Henry to Carowinds for a day of fun. They were there from open to close. Halfway through the day, they found fast past and food bands.
Lucas and Henry were excited to get back to see family. They were also pumped to eat some of their favorite meals that were not available or easy to come by abroad like Chic-fil-a and Mexican food.
