Some nights are magic, and this one makes the list.
After a few weeks of traveling just the four of us, we reunited with our worldschooling friends in Budapest — 15 of us altogether — to see Imagine Dragons live in concert! It was a night we’d been looking forward to for months. In fact, we booked the tickets back in October, while we were still in Bali, dreaming of summer in Europe and live music under the stars.
The energy in the city was electric, and being back with our travel tribe made it even better. There’s something really special about these friendships — they’re fast, deep, and full of shared adventures. Everyone was buzzing with excitement as we headed into the venue, a huge wave of anticipation rolling in as the lights dimmed and the band took the stage.
Imagine Dragons did not disappoint. The whole stadium lit up with voices singing along, hands in the air, and the kind of joy that only comes from thousands of people sharing a single moment. The kids and adults were dancing and singing their hearts out, and every one of us — big and small — had grins plastered across our faces. We knew the words, and somehow the songs hit even harder after all the travels, changes, and growth we’ve all been through.
It was more than just a concert. It felt like a celebration — of music, friendship, and the wild, beautiful adventure of worldschooling. These are the moments we’ll all remember.
Thanks, Budapest. Thanks, Imagine Dragons. And most of all, thanks to our amazing worldschooling family. Here’s to more epic nights around the world, together.
