Saying Goodbye to Forever Wild

Our last week in Ubud and with Forever Wild was bittersweet. We have been traveling with Forever Wild since the beginning of May. We are glad we signed up for Forever Wild. It is a unique experience that has been positive for our entire family. We made great friendships and lasting memories.

The program and the community have been wonderful. Amanda and Solomon have helped Lucas and Henry gain confidence. Mindfulness is a big part of Forever Wild, and we see the positive impact that has had on Lucas and Henry. They have become stronger physically and emotionally.

The kids gave a great end of session performance. Singing, dancing and sharing the projects they worked on during the hub. Lucas received a Teen Leadership Program Certificate of Apprenticeship for his work developing and leading physical education lessons at the hub. Being up in front of a group is not easy for Lucas, but he crushed being a teen leader.

Our month in Ubud was good. The food is great. There are a lot of activities that involve nature like waterfalls, bike riding, and hiking. We enjoyed staying with other families in a Villa. It is great for the boys to have their friends close by. We filled our last week with dinners, roundtable discussions, open mic night, and informal hangouts.

Saying so long is never easy. We wish all the best to Forever Wild and our friends, who are continuing with them. We already have plans to see many of them on our next adventures.

We are heading to North Bali for some rest and relaxation with our friends the Sigstons and the Sollars.
