Last weekend, I traveled to Atlanta to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday. My brothers, Seth and Sam, made the trip, and my aunt Gale and cousin Perel joined in the festivities as well. It was a rare and special gathering, filled with laughter, stories, and plenty of love.
We also caught up with my brother Brian and sister Emily, making the reunion even more complete. We spent quality time together, sharing meals at fantastic restaurants around the city and reminiscing about old times.
My mom loves musicals, so we took her to see Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. People who appreciate theater enjoyed it. My brothers tolerated it. Lucky for them, we had some good beers before the show to loosen them up. It was a quick trip but jam-packed and full of fun. I am glad we were able to all be together to celebrate.
Happy birthday, mom!
