Snow, Snow and More Snow

We spent the week skiing in Breckenridge and we loved it. We all got our ski legs under us. By the end of the week, we were all skiing blues and blacks. The crowds were not bad. The weather was perfect. Henry still pizzas straight down the mountain, but one day he will start turning.

Our place in Breckenridge was a little bigger than our place in Keystone. It had a kitchen, which was great. The boys slept in the kitchen. Michael slept on the pull-out couch. I slept in a twin bed next to my computer so I could wake up early in the morning for my conference calls.

The backyard of our condo was an awesome sledding hill. Lucas and Henry spent hours sledding down the hill. They even built a ramp to get some air. They wore their helmets since their sled path was through the forest.

In between the skiing and the sledding we found time for school and work. Henry and Lucas got to do a science experiment about acid and base. Lucas was excited about the experiment and did it a few times. Lucas has also been working with Michael on his self-directed project, which is building a drone. Lucas is designing and building a drone. He is learning a lot about measuring, electricity, designing and he is learning how to solder.

We have a busy but fun schedule. No day is like the next and that keeps it exciting. We are working hard and playing hard and it is rewarding.
