We have taken the opportunity to play more tennis while we are hanging out in North Carolina. We joined an indoor tennis center where the boys go to tennis clinics a few times a week. Michael is excited that they have a ball machine. Through connections at the tennis center, Lucas got the opportunity to be a ball boy at the Winston-Salem Open tennis tournament.
The lineup at the tournament was great. There were well-known names like Andy Murray, Richard Gasquet, Marin Cilic, and a lot of great up and comers like Francis Tiafoe, Carlos Alcaraz, and Mikael Ymer. Lucas was the youngest ball boy because ball boys are supposed to be 12 and older, but he was great. He worked for 9 to 11 hours a day. We all got to watch some great matches. It was a long, hot week, but so much fun.
